第8回感染症研究グローバルネットワークフォーラムは、文部科学省共同利用・共同研究拠点事業の一環として、日本医療研究開発機構（AMED）、千葉大学真菌医学研究センターならびに千葉大学グローバルプロミネント研究基幹（リーディング研究育成プログラム「超固体」）との共催により2020年1月10日（金）と1月11日（土）に千葉大学医学部附属病院において開催されました。
初日のポスタープレゼンテーションでは、若手の研究者を中心にポスター37題の発表がありました。二日目は「腸管を中心とした微生物叢と宿主との相互作用」をテーマに、招待講演としてドイツ・アメリカ・日本の著名な研究者8名による発表が行われました。
二日間で延べ220人の参加があり、発表者と参加者の間で活発な質疑応答も行われ、皆様の御支援により盛会に終了することができました。
